Do kids need a budget before they are even born?

Do kids need a budget before they are even born? You better believe that they do! I never knew that having a kid could involve so many new decisions. And I never knew how tough it would be to decide between what is "best" for your child and what is just financially irresponsible. How do you choose? Do I skimp out on cribs, car seats, strollers and daycare to save a few bucks and risk not having the "best" for my child; or do you just go for it and figure out how to stretch your resources.

A middle ground is sure to appear and I think that is where I will be found. I want the best for Cade and I will do my best to provide just that!
