Change is in the air....
I believe that change is good and necessary for progression, but sometimes I wish that it would pace itself. Michele and I are ready to start a family, but that requires change. We have (to the best of our abilities) prepared ourselves for the changes that a newborn represents. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Mr. Cade, but now more changes loom ahead in the immediate future. It was announced last week that APS (my employer) is being sold. One of our biggest competitors is buying us out and they are based in MN and KY. We (supposedly) are going to be their TX office, but you know how buy-outs go. It appears that I am now going to be adjusting to life with a newborn while looking for a new job! Wish me luck.

Update
Well it looks like Mr. Cade will be with us soon. Michele has done a wonderful job carrying him and I think that they are both ready for him to be here. For those of you who have not seen Michele recently, you are really missing out. She looks fabulous. She is as beautiful as ever and there is just something wonderful about knowing that when I hug her I am hugging Cade as well.
I have to admit that I am a little anxious. While the house, car and all the baby accessories are finally ready, there is still that lingering thought that this is the one thing in life that we better not mess up. I am looking forward to being a dad, I just want to make sure that I am a good one (like my dad has always been).
I can't wait!
