Often times we, as mere humans, feel overwhelmed by all of life's complications. Just this week, Michele and I found our dog laying in the backyard lame again with a back injury that really needs a surgery that we cannot afford. We also noticed that my truck seems to be having some machanical issues since my wreck earlier this year. These of course come on top of the uncertainty about the longevity of my job and Michele's desire to stay at home, plus worrying about the additional cash that we need but never seem to have to prepare for Christmas.
Then last night, as Michele and I were talking we put things into perspective and spent some time thanking our Creator for all of our blessings. None of the things that were "overwhelming" seemed all that important when we stopped to see how God is providing for us and how richly He has blessed us.
The one thing that is a constant reminder of God's love for us is Cade. How amazing! Some evenings i hold him and tell him all that is on my mind and after listening to my worries he looks up at me and smiles! How awesome is that! How can you feel like life is troubling when this (see below) is staring you in the face!
